Every service
Kitchen board (the pass)
Every KOT as a card, oldest first. Cooks move each card from placed to preparing to ready, and the floor sees it at once.
- 1
New orders appear as cards with the table or token, the round number and the time — with a sound.
- 2
Tap Start when cooking begins; the card moves to Preparing.
- 3
Tap Ready when it is plated. The waiter's phone shows it as ready to serve.
- 4
A card that has waited too long turns red, so nothing is forgotten in a rush. Parcels are marked so they get boxed.
Example
Friday 8:30 pm, 11 cards on the TV in the kitchen. Parcel 3 has been waiting 18 minutes and turns red — the head cook takes it next.
Good to know
- Open it on any old phone, tablet or a TV browser and leave it on. Layout, sort order and the late warning are in Restaurant settings.
- Cooks only need the kitchen permission — they never see bills or reports.
