Stock (Growth & Prime)
Purchases & suppliers
Enter each supplier bill with its invoice number and GST. Stock goes up, the cost is known, and what you owe each supplier is tracked.
Included in Growth and Prime
- 1
Pick or add the supplier and type their bill number and date.
- 2
Add each item with the quantity — in your unit or the purchase unit (2 Tin) — and the amount.
- 3
GST is worked out per line: CGST + SGST in your state, IGST from outside it. It becomes input tax on the GST report.
- 4
Say whether it is paid, paid in part, or on credit, and from which account.
- 5
Save. Stock goes up at the landed cost, and a credit bill shows under that supplier's dues.
Example
Shree Traders bill ST/219: 2 Tin oil ₹4,200 + 5 kg paneer ₹1,700 + 5% GST ₹295 = ₹6,195, paid by UPI from HDFC. Oil now costs ₹140 a litre in your recipes.
Good to know
- Pay a supplier later from their page — the payment goes against the oldest bill first.
- Wrong bill? Open it and cancel; the stock it added comes back off.
