Pay-first ordering
Guests pay before the food is cooked. Their order is held — the kitchen does not see it — until the counter takes the money.
- 1
A pay-first table turns red with "unpaid KOT" when it has an order waiting for money.
- 2
Tap Collect on the card. The amount is exactly what the invoice will say, GST and round-off included.
- 3
Pick the method and take the money. The invoice is raised, the KOT prints and the cook starts — in one tap.
Example
A highway dhaba runs pay-first. T3 orders ₹560 at the counter tablet; the cashier taps Collect, takes cash, and the tandoor gets the KOT seconds later.
Good to know
- Switch it on in Restaurant settings. One regular can still be seated as pay-after.
- It removes walk-outs completely — nothing is cooked before it is paid.
