Parcels & takeaway
A takeaway or delivery order opens with a token number instead of a table, carries its own packing charge and can be marked for Swiggy or Zomato.
- 1
On the floor tap + Parcel. Add a name and phone if you want them on the bill.
- 2
Pick the selling platform — counter, Swiggy, Zomato — if you sell on them. Platform orders are never pay-first, because the platform already took the money.
- 3
Packing is charged the way you set it (per order, per item or a percentage) and shows as its own line on the bill.
- 4
Tap Open token. Order as usual; the kitchen sees the parcel mark and boxes it.
Example
Rahul calls for 2 Veg Biryani for pickup. Token P-4 opens, the biryani goes to the kitchen marked PARCEL, and the bill shows ₹20 packing separately.
Good to know
- Set your packing rule and its GST in Restaurant settings → Pay & Pack.
- On Growth and Prime, a dish's packing recipe (box, bag) is cut from stock only for parcels.
